LOOK: One Of Heaviest MLB Players Ever Looks Like A New Man

Former MLB All-Star Dmitri Young was listed at 295 pounds at one point during his 13 Major League seasons. Only two players tipped the scales higher in the league's history, per MLB.com.

But during a visit to the Nationals-Reds game in Cincinnati on Friday, Young showed he's no longer a heavy hitter. Young, who last played in 2008, was unrecognizable, having lost more than 100 pounds, according to For The Win.

"Da Meathook," as he was known, wore a cap with a familiar bearded image of himself, just in case people wondered who he was.

How Young slimmed down is no secret. “Diet and exercise,” he told The Washington Post in 2011, when he was well into his transformation. “As funny as that sounds, it’s true."
