It's August, which means it's nearly time to go back to school. And for lots of people, that school is brand new.
As college freshmen, you're in a fresh environment. The world is your canvas and you can pretty much do whatever you want. Sometimes, however, you forget about some very important factors that WILL impact the way you live your university life. There's the laundry you won't be doing, the awkward walks to the shower and, if you're lucky, you might have an air-conditioned dorm (but don't get your hopes up).
Here are a couple of things to keep in mind. Your school probably has printing centers in the libraries, so no need to bring one for yourself. You have a meal plan, so use it! Finally, think about the personal items you absolutely need, because you won't want to clutter up a small dorm room with unnecessary junk.
So, to prepare for the first semester of your entire college career, here's a checklist to get you packing for the big move. Remember, a First Aid Kit will get you a loooong way, and don't underestimate the power of a good pair of jeans.
