When NBA All-Star Stephen Curry invited me to join him for a 3-point clinic, I hopped in a cab, threw a stack of hundreds at the driver, and told him to blow every red light on the way to Basketball City. Since joining the NBA in 2009, Curry’s shot a remarkable .440 from long range—a decidedly better 3-point percentage than what Steve Nash, Ray Allen, and Larry Bird put up over their fabled careers. So, what did I learn from the greatest shooter in basketball? For starters, I need a lot of practice.
