Anderson Cooper Is A Comic Book Character Now

A dream is coming true for the comic book lover within Anderson Cooper.

The CNN host will be a Marvel comic book character come November, the publisher announced Thursday. Making his debut in the 12th issue of the "Black Widow" series, Cooper's character will be a journalist who "traces the web of an allegedly reformed KGB operative and assassin" known as Black Widow.

Series writer Nathan Edmondson said that he approached Cooper with the concept, and that the CNN host was "thrilled" by the idea.

Here's the cover for the November issue:

Cooper is also a fan of "The Simpsons" and made a cameo on the show last year. And for actor Bill Hader's final "Saturday Night Live" show, Cooper made an appearance in a wedding skit, playing none other than himself.
