The Dopest Street Style Snaps From AfroPunk Fest 2014

If you've never experienced AfroPunk Fest, you're missing out on one of the largest gatherings of creative, colorful and conscious-minded individuals.

Both big name and underground musical acts, including D'angelo, Trash Talk, SZA and Unlocking The Truth took the stage in Brooklyn's Commodore Barry Park over the weekend, so we knew we'd see concertgoers rocking their flyest gear. From ankara fabric turbans and gilded septum rings to rainbow-colored braids and '90s-inspired ripped jeans, this isn't your ordinary "punk fashion."

Check out the dope street style snaps from AfroPunk Fest we found on Instagram. Then click through the slideshow below for original photography by Ibra Ake.
