Celebrities Pay Homage To Michael Brown During Funeral Service

More than two weeks after unarmed 18-year-old Michael Brown was fatally shot by Ferguson police officer, Darren Wilson, hundreds gathered along with the public to honor the teen at his funeral service.

The somber gathering, which took place on Monday at St. Louis’ Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church, was attended by Brown’s family and friends and influential public figures including Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton,T.D .Jakes, radio personality Tom Joyner and director Spike Lee.

Many celebrities took to social media to send condolences to the family and honor Brown's memory.
