'Sons Of Guns' Star Charged With Aggravated Rape Of 12-Year-Old

Star of Discovery Channel's "Sons of Guns" William Hayden has been arrested in Louisiana and charged with the aggravated rape of a 12-year-old girl.

Hayden was arrested as a fugitive from East Baton Rouge Parish at about 3 p.m. Tuesday after the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison put out a warrant for his arrest, according to CBS affiliate WAFB. He was charged with aggravated rape and is being held on $250,000 bond.

Earlier this month, Hayden was arrested on charges of child molestation and crimes against nature. He was subsequently released on $150,000 bail.

"During that investigation, we received more information that these rapes allegedly occurred from March 2013 to July 2014 of our victim who was 11 and then later 12 years old at the time," EBR Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Casey Hicks said, according to WAFB. The station further reports: "Documents from the Sheriff's office states that the victim told police the alleged acts occurred almost daily, but didn't report them because Hayden made threats."

NOLA.com obtained the affidavit of probable cause from Hayden's case. In the documents, the victim alleges Hayden took her virginity when she was 11 years old. He would allegedly take her into his bedroom and rape her.

Hayden is the founder and owner of Red Jacket Firearms in Baton Rouge. His store, which manufactures and sells custom firearms, is the center of the Discovery Channel reality show "Sons of Guns," which premiered in 2011. A media representative for Discovery had no comment when contacted by The Huffington Post.

Red Jacket Firearms posted a Facebook message Tuesday regarding Hayden's association with the store:

Today, Red Jacket Firearms has received complete legal separation as an entity, from Will Hayden. We will continue to operate, although with heavy hearts and promise to do everything in our power to fill customer orders, back orders and provide support to those affected by these new developments.

After the Aug. 9 arrest, Hayden told TMZ the arrest came about because of an ex-girlfriend's false allegations involving him and their daughter.
