A Florida mother is accused of hanging up on an officer inquiring about her missing child because she had to get on stage at a strip club.

Bobbey Jo Boucher, a 29-year-old stripper at Calendar Girls strip club in Hudson, was charged with misdemeanor obstruction, WTSP reported.

The mother allegedly left her 10-year-old daughter at a BBQ on Wednesday afternoon before going to work, but when the girl did not return from the barbecue, her grandmother called the police, according to documents obtained by The Smoking Gun.

Pasco County Sheriff’s Deputies called Boucher to inform her that her daughter was missing, but Boucher allegedly told the cop on the phone “I have to get on stage” before hanging up.

The officer alleged that Boucher refusing to speak meant that authorities were unable to enter the girl’s information into a missing child registry.

UPDATE: The 10-year-old was found, unharmed, a few hours after being reported missing.
