Talk about a bird's eye view!
In this video from CFAmericaTV, we get a unique look at Estadio Azteca, a Mexican soccer stadium, courtesy of an eagle named Celeste, who was equipped with a GoPro camera and set loose over the field.
Here, we see Celeste soar above an Aug. 30 match between Club America and Pumas UNAM, two teams in top-flight Mexican soccer league Liga MX. That day, the Pumas handed Club America its first loss of the 2014 Apertura (a league championship tournament), with a 1-0 score.
An eagle flying over the field is a tradition for Club America, as Spanish-language media site, FayerWayer, reports. The flight of an eagle -- the emblem of the team -- happens at the halftime of each game the Club plays at Estadio Azteca.
The Club attached the GoPro to Celeste in order to have a first-person view of this tradition.
