Jon Stewart Says NFL Bosses 'Don't Know What The F-ck They're Doing'

NFL Bosses 'Don't Know What The F-ck They're Doing'

The NFL is facing backlash from fans and sponsors for its wavering response to players accused of domestic violence. Or, as Jon Stewart put it on "The Daily Show" on Wednesday night, "the kind of firm decision-making we've come to expect from people who don't know what the fuck they're doing."

Over the weekend, the Minnesota Vikings deactivated star running back Adrian Peterson after child abuse allegations surfaced. The team reactivated him after he missed just one game, then deactivated him again after pressure from fans and advertisers -- especially Anheuser-Busch, one of the league's biggest sponsors.

"How crazy is this? A company that sells alcohol is the moral touchstone of the NFL," Stewart said. "Alcohol, maybe one of the only substances that is proven scientifically to increase the likelihood of domestic abuse. That company is saying to the NFL, 'You guys got a real problem here.'"

Of course, Stewart is interested in getting other perspectives on the story as well, and wondered: "What does a stupid person make of all this?"

And for that, he turned to Sean Hannity -- who somehow managed to turn the NFL's domestic abuse issues into an exercise in pure homophobia.
