Rep. Steve Israel (D-N.Y.) was re-elected to Congress in New York's 3rd congressional district on Tuesday.

Israel, who was first elected to Congress in 2000, also serves as the chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. He defeated Republican Grant Lally on Tuesday.
