The media's attack on the image of black fatherhood is nothing new.
In response to reports about the myth surrounding black fatherhood, we wanted to share family photos that display love and integrity of devoted fathers in the black community. Our Black Voices Twitter callout asked readers to submit photos using the hashtag #MyBlackFather. And what we got in response was a cargo of heartwarming pictures of the black men that raised our readers.
Want to be a part of the lovefest? Itβs not too late! Just tweet us a photo of your father using #MyBlackFather and weβll continue to update the story with new submissions.
