Jon Stewart Blasts TV Networks For Fueling Ebola Fears

Jon Stewart Blasts Networks' Coverage Of Ebola

Jon Stewart warned Americans on Tuesday night not to turn to the media for Ebola news, unless they want to be totally and illogically freaked out.

The Comedy Central host explored the recent coverage of the Texas health care worker who contracted Ebola after caring for another Ebola patient. The nurse, Nina Pham, said Tuesday that she is "doing well" and thanked everyone for all the support she has received.

Meanwhile on TV news, Stewart pointed out, it was a whole different story. Stewart ran clips of Fox News hosts and other news anchors creating massive panic over a possible -- albeit unlikely -- Ebola outbreak within the U.S.

To which Stewart only had one response:

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!"
