Is This New, Popular High-Fat Diet Fad Too Good To Be True?

If your diet requires you to pee on a stick to find out if you’re doing it right, then you’re doing it wrong. Unless you’re a child with epilepsy whose doctor is making a very low carb dietary recommendation, never go full keto.
A variation of the ketogenic diet (one that promotes getting 80% or more of your calories from fat), is getting promoted in quacktacular circles these days, and people are buying into it, proving once again that Adolf Hitler was right: “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.”

That’s the first Hitler bomb I’ve dropped in an article. I’ve been saving it for seeing a guy eat a stick of butter like it was a candy bar.
