Jenn Sterger Responds To Peyton Manning Record With Dig At Brett Favre

Jenn Sterger joined the Twitter response to Peyton Manning breaking Brett Favre's record for career touchdown passes Sunday night. But the message from the former New York Jets employee, whom Favre allegedly texted pictures of his penis in 2008, went beyond congratulations into an apparent dig at the retired football star.

After Manning connected with Demaryius Thomas for touchdown pass No. 509 in the Denver Broncos' 42-17 victory over the San Francisco 49ers, Favre tweeted:

Sterger later offered this:

The married Favre, who previously held the record of 508 touchdown passes, admitted to sending texts to Sterger during the 2008 season when he was with the Jets but denied transmitting pictures of his genitals. In 2010, he was fined $50,000 for not cooperating with the NFL's investigation into whether he violated the league's personal conduct policy.

Sterger, who was a Jets sideline reporter in 2008, is now a "comedian/actress/writer," according to her Twitter account.

Favre played his last NFL game in 2010.
