These Radish Animal Sculptures Are Almost Too Cute To Eat

We never knew vegetables could be so cute.

These animal sculptures made of Daikon radishes -- a winter root vegetable native to Asia -- look almost too good to eat.

For a new book called "Grated Daikon Art," Tokyo-based viral radish artist Masanori Kono compiled a series of radish sculpture ideas meant to spruce up Japanese hot-pot dishes called nabe. The book features a collection of Kono's own sculptures, credited to his alias KimimaRock, as well as creations by other artists.

A tutorial of how to make the panda below is also available on Cookpad.
