Today's tragedy (not really) comes to us from Tennessee, where 18-month-old Colin Lambert found himself entranced by a claw machine Tuesday like a moth to a flame, WBIR reports.

Diane O'Neill, the boy's grandmother, said she had turned away for only a moment when the little adventurer found himself encaged.

"All I could see was his feet," O'Neill said. "He had already crawled in. I grabbed his feet and he kicked my hand and got in. Climbed up over the glass partition and sat down in the toys."

According to the station, firefighters came and rescued the child within a matter of minutes. O'Neill said her grandson was excited to see the firefighters, and even got to pick out a free toy after the ordeal.

We're pretty sure this was the child's diabolical plan all along. Still, there are dangers with crawling into these mechanical beasts. Remember: in claw machines, no one can hear you scream (probably).
