Bring on the Halloween jokes early. I’m one bald mama and it is seriously scary that I don’t need a costume for next week.
At the beginning of the summer, I relapsed. That was after being remission from leukemia for over a year and a bone marrow transplant – the whole reason I was bald last Halloween too.
“What are you going to dress up as?” a nurse asked me today.
“Me,” I responded. A sense of humor is good in these situations.
