The "Girls" creator recently released her memoir, Not That Kind Of Girl, and she's teamed up with Planned Parenthood for her recent book tour.

“With the recent Supreme Court decision in the Hobby Lobby case, it’s critical that we all do everything we can to ensure that women have access to the full range of reproductive and sexual health care without their bosses or politicians or judges getting in the way," Dunham said in a press release about the partnership. "Planned Parenthood will have a presence on my tour so that people can learn about Planned Parenthood health services and the invaluable information that Planned Parenthood educators provide, and become involved as advocates and volunteers.”

Dunham has taken to her Instagram account to share photos of her famous friends, including Mindy Kaling, Ellen Page, Rashida Jones and Jemima Kirke, wearing their "Lena

Dunham has also been very vocal in encouraging women to vote in the midterm elections. In a video made for Glamour.com, Dunham and her fans explain why it's so important to every woman to make it to the polls on November 4th.

"I think we need to stop having politicians who think they know what's best for women. Only women and their families know what's best for women," one fan says.
