Why Pittsburgh Is The Best Location For This Robotics Tech Company

Why This Company Calls Pittsburgh 'Ground Zero' For Robotic Innovation

One of the most important things to consider when starting a business is location, and this space robotic technology company hit the jackpot with Pittsburgh.

Astrobotic CEO John Thornton explained to HuffPost Live's Nancy Redd why the Pennsylvania city was the best choice for his company.

"The reason is that the talent pool is incredible here," Thorton said. "We’re right next to Carnegie Mellon, the world’s No. 1 robotics and No. 1 computer science [programs] in the world. This is where we’re going to build the things that will fly and land on the surface of the moon. ... It’s a really interesting story here in Pittsburgh. I mean, this is ground zero of industrial turning to technology."
