Debbie Dingell Will Replace Husband In Congress

Democrat Debbie Dingell defeated Republican Terry Bowman in the midterm Congressional election on Tuesday.

Dingell and Bowman were facing off to represent Michigan's 12th District in the U.S. House. She succeeds her husband, Rep. John Dingell, who was first elected in a 1955 special election. He is the longest-serving member of Congress in U.S. history and announced his retirement earlier this year.
