Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.) won his re-election bid Tuesday night, defeating GOP opponent Kevin Wade and Green Party opponent Andrew Groff, according to the AP.
Coons was first elected to the Senate in 2010 in a special election against tea party favorite Christine O'Donnell.
