Weld County District Attorney Ken Buck (R) defeated Democrat Vic Meyers in Colorado's heavily Republican 4th District Tuesday.
Buck was originally a candidate in the Republican primary to challenge Sen. Mark Udall (D-Colo.) but dropped out of that race when Rep. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.) announced that he would enter the primary.
U.S. Senator Michael Bennet (D-Colo.) defeated Buck unsuccessfully in 2010's Senate race. In that race, Buck attracted negative attention for comparing homosexuality to alcoholism and for his support for fetal personhood.
