Moving To New Hampshire Didn't Help Scott Brown Get Back In The Senate

Former Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown (R) lost the New Hampshire Senate race against incumbent Jeanne Shaheen (D) on Tuesday.

Brown moved to New Hampshire in 2013 and declared his run for the Senate in 2014. He was repeatedly criticized for lacking ties to the state and struggled with slip-ups about his location throughout his campaign.

Brown served in the Senate from 2010 to 2013, filling the seat of the late Ted Kennedy (D). He lost that Senate seat in 2012, when he was defeated in his re-election bid by consumer advocate Elizabeth Warren.
