Freshman Rep. Eric Swalwell (D) was re-elected Tuesday to represent California's 15th District.
Swalwell was first elected to represent the Silicon Valley district in 2012, ousting longtime progressive Rep. Pete Stark.
The Democrat faced a longshot challenge from Republican Hugh Bussell.
