Jimmy Kimmel Roasts Media, Politicians With 'Unnecessary Censorship'

With the midterm elections on Tuesday, this past week has been particularly ripe for ridicule in the worlds of politics and cable news.

So ABC late night host Jimmy Kimmel took to his regular “This Week In Unnecessary Censorship” segment Thursday to swap words from the likes of Chris Matthews, Bill O'Reilly, Matt Lauer and President Obama with some strategically placed beeps.

Perhaps the best example, however, came from newly-elected Iowa senator Joni Ernst.

"I [bleeped] my way through the Iowa State Fair," the program showed her saying. "And if you got within five feet of me, it was probably because I was trying to [bleep] you."
