Watch The University Of Michigan Move A Gigantic Tree In 90 Seconds

On Oct. 25, the University of Michigan began moving a 700,000-pound, 250-year-old bur oak tree on campus. And spent $400,000 to do it.

They moved the tree from right outside the Ross School of Business to a nearby street corner on campus. The whole moving process was supposed to take a couple of days, according to MLive.com, which also created a timelapse video capturing all the work. But an incident during the move delayed the finishing work for about a week. The movers used giant inner tubes to transport the tree to its new spot, NPR reported.

The large price tag was covered by a private donation to the university's business school.
