Carmelo Anthony's Hat Game Is More Dominant Than The Knicks' Triangle Offense

Melo's Hat Game > Knicks' Triangle Offense

Carmelo Anthony has put Walt "Clyde" Frazier on notice with his fearless hat game. The New York Knicks may have a new All-Star trendsetter in the locker room. Unfortunately, opponents may not have as much to worry about these days when it come to the Knicks' on-court style.

Following the Knicks' lackluster showing in a 110-99 defeat to the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night, Anthony rocked a bold piece of headwear during his postgame remarks. The hat inspired plenty of commentary and jokes, including tweets from ESPN personalities and coverage from sports media outlets. The loss dropped the Knicks to 2-4 for the season as they struggle to adapt to Phil Jackson's famed triangle offense under first-year head coach Derek Fisher.

"I think it's just believing in ourselves a little bit more, whether it's in the triangle, whether it's on defense, whether it's in each other," Anthony told reporters while wearing his incredible hat.

While the team may need a greater belief in itself and more time before it can efficiently run the triangle offense, Melo's confidence in his own style seems to be quite strong.
