How To Escape A Sleeping Baby

Ninja-Like Parents Demonstrate How To Escape A Sleeping Baby

Putting a baby to sleep can be a Herculean task, but getting away after he or she is down might be the hardest part.

This funny video by Esther Anderson shows the many stealth ways parents try to get away from their babies once they've finally gotten them to fall asleep. The tactics include rolling away, avoiding a creaky floor, and replacing themselves with stuffed animals.

These moves demonstrate a lot of creativity and skill, but the trouble is in reality, floorboards always creak, most of us do not have actual ninja skills, and you are not supposed to put a baby to sleep on her belly, with a stuffed animal or in a crib with bumpers at all.

Still, we're hoping that in the future, the team behind "Escaping a Sleeping Baby" will share their sure-to-be-creative solutions to tantrums or other terrible-twos behavior.
