Thanksgiving is finally here. The day of feasting we've all be waiting for has finally arrived and now it's time for you to show us what you've got! After sifting through and digging up the best Thanksgiving recipes we could find -- from mashed potatoes to green bean casserole -- we want to know which new recipes you're trying out this year. We all have our standbys -- our classic family recipes and favorite go-tos that get us through Thanksgiving year after year. But this year, we want to know how you're breaking the mold. If you're baking pecan pie for the first time, we want to know about it. If you've never served homemade cranberry sauce before but are ditching the can this year, tell us! And if you're introducing roasted cauliflower to your table for the first time, good work -- show us your stuff!

In the words of Nora Ephron, whose custom it was to cook one new dish amidst the traditional ones every Thanksgiving, we want to see:

The thing that proves conclusively that you're up for change, that you're not your mother, that you're open to new ideas, that you're flexible and full of surprises and with-it food-wise, even though the truth about Thanksgiving is the exact opposite -- it's about ritual and tradition and the same-old same-old.

Ephron wanted to see your breakout dish, and this year we want to see it too. Thanksgiving is definitely a time to look back and honor tradition, but that doesn't mean it can't be a time to try new things too. Ephron was a food lover who can inspire us all to break from routine, even if we're cooking for a crowd on what is probably the most hyped food day of the year. Ephron once said, "I have made a lot of mistakes falling in love, and regretted most of them, but never the potatoes that went with them." Now that's a woman after our own hearts, and one we should definitely all listen to this Thanksgiving.

Here are some of our favorite new dishes we'll be trying out this year:
