Obama Meets With Hillary Clinton At The White House

President Barack Obama met privately with Hillary Clinton at the White House on Wednesday.

The two sat down for about an hour to "catch-up and enjoy an informal discussion on a wide range of issues," a White House official said, per a pool report. The former secretary of state, who is considered a potential 2016 presidential candidate, was in town to deliver a speech at the Georgetown Institute For Women, Peace and Security.

According to the official, Obama and Clinton "enjoy getting together in person on a regular basis."

The meeting was not previously announced by the White House. Also on Obama's docket for the day: a private meeting with incoming Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).
