It’s not always easy to pick out tokens of appreciation for teachers, and some districts have begun discouraging the practice of teacher gift-giving or putting finite dollar caps on the amount teachers can accept. Amid these challenges, we asked teachers on our Facebook and Twitter accounts about the best gifts they have ever received from students.
Unsurprisingly, teachers’ favorite gifts seemed to be ones that came from students’ hearts and truly made them feel appreciated. Here is some of what teachers told us about their favorite gifts:
