Adorable Airplane Goody Bags Spread Cheer During The Most Stressful Time Of The Year

We're currently suffering through the busiest travel days of the year -- and often, stressful times like these are ripe ground for ugly mid-air spats between passengers (whether real or imagined).

That's why one passenger was especially touched earlier this month, when he received a sweet goody bag from a baby on his flight to Miami.

Little Madeline, an infant on the flight, had her parents pass out individual goody bags to her fellow passengers to apologize for any disturbance she might cause them during the ride. The bags, along with candy and earplugs, contained a note from Madeline:

The note made its rounds on Reddit, where many users were giddy to see a sweet act of kindness during the straining gauntlet that is holiday travel.

And it turns out this isn't the first time a baby has passed out presents on a plane -- it's a somewhat common occurrence, whether the bags are full of candy or simply some spending money for the airport bar. Some passengers are not fans of the goody bags ("You're bribing passengers! "Why should you have to apologize anyway?!"), but we can't help but feel tickled by this adorable tradition.

Hey, anything to make a trip a little sweeter is fine by us. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good flight!
