Jerry Seinfeld's Take On Garbage Could Easily Be A 'Seinfeld' Episode

... And cue the "Seinfeld" bass line.

Jerry Seinfeld stopped by "The Tonight Show" on Tuesday to deliver some standup, and you'd almost think an episode of his former sitcom was going to follow. The comedian started the set by riffing on the free TV Jimmy Fallon gave the audience, later explaining how everything just exists in different stages of garbage.

Early episodes of "Seinfeld" opened with a short standup set, and putting this before "The Label Maker," for instance, would almost be too perfect. In the episode, Jerry and Elaine suspect Tim Whatley is a "regifter," which Seinfeld might point out is really just giving your trash to someone else.

In the end, there was no sitcom, but you can check out Fallon's episode of "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" if you still need your Seinfeld fix. And no offense to Jerry, but it's definitely not garbage.
