The Politicians With The Most On The Line In 2015

Politically, 2014 was not the hottest year for Democrats, whose resounding defeat in the midterm elections could put Congress in gridlock for another two years as a Republican House and Senate remain at odds with a Democrat in the White House. Even with that outlook, 2015 is shaping up to be an imperative year in politics.

In a panel discussion Monday on HuffPost Live, a five-guest roundtable — presided over by host Marc Lamont Hill — pondered names like Elizabeth Warren, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and, of course, Hillary Clinton as possibilities for who could make the biggest impact in 2015 heading into the 2016 presidential election. The aforementioned crew's response to issues like criminal justice reform, immigration and will shape how they fare in 2015, the panel agreed.
