This holiday season, so many of you purchased drones for loved ones that the Federal Aviation Administration felt it wise to launch a whole new website with several drone industry organizations.
KnowBeforeYouFly.com details all the federal regulations that apply to unmanned-aerial-vehicle-loving hobbyists. One may not, for example, fly a drone higher than 400 feet, or out of the operator's line of sight.
Luckily for the FAA, many seem barely able get their drones off the ground so far.
Enjoy.
