2 Dead, 5 Injured In Shooting At North Carolina House Party

Two people were killed and five others injured during a shooting at a house party over the weekend in North Carolina.

Authorities with the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office were searching for suspects in the deadly incident, NBC News reports. The shooting happened around 2 a.m., Sunday, at a home in Hope Mills.

Police identified the deceased as 32-year-old Tanishia Graham and 21-year-old Izaak Bridges. Names of the other victims were not released.

"In our house, we can hear the partying [while in] the bathroom on the back side of [our] house. It was pretty much every weekend that they were partying, just about," neighbor Nikita McCray told WNCN. "You could tell it was a good bit of people."

Investigators believe that the incident was not a drive-by shooting, according to WRAL. No arrests had been made as of Sunday night.

Paul Woolverton, a reporter with The Fayetteville Observer, shared the following photograph from the scene.
