Naomi Campbell: 'I Owe My Life To Gay Men'

Supermodel and actress Naomi Campbell opens up about her longtime support of gay community in a new interview with GLAAD.

"If it wasn't for gay men, I wouldn't exist," Campbell, who will be seen as Camilla in the Jan. 21 episode of the Fox series "Empire," tells GLAAD"s Claire Pires. "Hair, makeup, designer, photographer, manicure, hairdresser ... I owe my life to gay men."

In April 2014, Campbell spoke out in support of the inclusion of transgender models in fashion, applauding Carmen Carrera at the GLAAD Awards in Los Angeles.

"The truth is LGBT culture and fashion go hand in hand," she said at the time, before introducing out actress Ellen Page. "They flourish in light of making bold and brave statements."
