Someone in the Arizona area is almost definitely messing with the New England Patriots. And that person might very well be sleeping in the same hotel as the team.

At the hotel housing the Patriots this week, the fire alarm has been activated twice in three nights, according to NFL Network reporter Kimberly Jones:

Both times -- the first around 1:30 a.m., the second around 2 a.m. -- it was just a false alarm, and the second alarm supposedly didn’t even go off in the section of the hotel where the players are staying.

But still, all we need is one more false alarm for an official trend piece. The hotel is looking into the issue. The Super Bowl is on Sunday, by the way.
