Kerry Washington Is Chic In A Polka Dot Minidress

We had no trouble spotting Kerry Washington on the red carpet Tuesday night.

The actress dressed to impress at the The Limited's Inspired By "Scandal" clothing collection event in Los Angeles. Washington opted for a black and white polka-dot printed Dolce & Gabbana minidress, paired with white pumps, a clutch and red lipstick that popped:

The "Scandal" star, who plays the fashionable Olivia Pope on the ABC show, talked to HuffPost Style about teaming up with The Limited's head of design, Elliot Staples, and "Scandal" costumer designer Lyn Paolo for the line.

“What's most exciting about the spring collection is that we were inspired by the fans' reactions to the line," Washington told HuffPost Style.

"Lyn, Elliot and I were constantly discussing the responses we saw on social media about what people were loving and gravitating towards. That direct fan and consumer response really informed the new pieces of the spring collection," she said.
