Parents-To-Be Announce Pregnancy With Thrilling Sci-Fi Trailer

02/04/2015 11:02 am ET | Updated Feb 04, 2015

This sci-fi-themed pregnancy announcement is quite ... otherworldly.

Excited announcers: Indiana parents-to-be Dustin and Rheann Lowman

Due date: Fall 2015

Announcement method of choice: The Lowmans made a fake sci-fi trailer, complete with a mysterious message, secret buried box, and adorable pair of baby booties.

Cinematic inspiration: While the Lowmans aren't super into sci-fi, dad-to-be Dustin told The Huffington Post that they're huge fans of "Back to the Future."

Creative genes: Dustin says he hopes people who see the video "get inspired to be creative and continue that creativity with the child they bring into the world." He added, "If our parents would have stifled our creativity, my wife and I would never be where we are at today. Good parents are what change the world in our opinion."
