A new study found LGB individuals were two times more likely to share e-cigarette information than their straight peers, despite having similar exposure to e-cigarette advertisements. The authors also found that LGB individuals also used e-cigarettes more often than the general population. Knowledge can be a very dangerous thing.

Cancer Is Bad For Queer Guys' Mental Health

New research found that gay, bisexual and transgender men had more psychological distress after surviving cancer than their straight, male peers. Lesbian, bisexual and transgender women, however, fared the same as straight women.

Study: Transgender Children Are Not Confused

A new study found that transgender children identify just as strongly with their gender as non-transgender children do. The findings show that transgender kids are not confused and not seeking attention, as some people claim. In a statement the study authors said “…this paper should serve as further evidence that transgender children do indeed exist and that this identity is a deeply held one.”

White House Releases LGBT Supportive Budget

The White House just released the most LGBT-supportive budget proposal ever. The proposal included plans for better healthcare access, hate crime prevention, benefits for same-sex couples, eliminating health disparities, civil rights enforcement, LGBT worker protection and more!
