CJ Phillips And Charlie Rainwater, 'Tech Bear' Couple, Appear On 'The Rachel Maddow Show'

'Tech Bear' Couple Talk Plans For JebBushForPresident.Com With Rachel Maddow

This story just keeps getting better and better.

Two weeks ago we brought you the story of CJ Phillips And Charlie Rainwater, a self-described "tech bear" couple that had the foresight back in 2008 to purchase the domain www.JebBushForPresident.com. With Bush expected to make a run for President in 2016, the pair now plans to use the domain in order to educate the public about issues affecting the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow had the pair on her show this past week and engaged them in a discussion about their plans for the site.

"We'd really like to use it as a platform for letting people learn that this is what a real LGBT couple faces -- what we're really like," the couple told Maddow. "So many times in our past we've heard people ask us questions because they don't know -- they don't know another gay couple. They don't realize that two people who look like us -- big ol' bears -- are a couple. So this is a chance. This is what we want to use it for."

Check out the clip above to hear more -- the conversation with Philips and Rainwater beings at the 2:50 mark.
