Naomi Campbell Loves 'Empire's' LGBT Subplot: 'I Wouldn't Exist' Without Gay Men

While "Empire's" test ratings may've dipped after featuring a kiss between a same-sex couple, Naomi Campbell, a star of the hit Fox series, is thankful the show decided to stick with the original LGBT plot-line.

"I think it's a great storyline and it's a great dynamic," she told HuffPost Live in a conversation on Tuesday. "I think it's so brilliant and I think a lot of people just love that storyline."

The supermodel hopes the story will "make people come out and embrace their sexuality and not feel ashamed, that they have to hide," she added.

Gay issues are particularly close to Campbell's heart, as the Burberry model has previously claimed she owes "her life to gay men.'

"I've always said that gay men have made me who I am," she echoed on Tuesday. "I wouldn't be here without them. I wouldn't exist, and I will say that again and again."
