IMF Chief Christine Lagarde Thinks The U.S. Will Have A Female President Before France

Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde stopped by HuffPostLive on Feb. 23 to discuss women and politics with Arianna Huffington.

A French lawyer and politician for the Union for a Popular Movement prior to her current post, Lagarde predicted that the U.S. will have a female president before France does. Although some people would love to see Lagarde as the first French woman president, Lagarde laughed when Arianna asked her if she's considered this possibility, telling Arianna, "Not a chance."

With a presidential run for Hillary Clinton almost a guarantee in 2016, it sounds like Lagarde's prediction is more within reach than ever before.
