About the Role:

The Huffington Post is looking for a talented writer to cover internet culture, hacking, hackers, and cybercrime with a focus on producing original scoops that provoke conversation and shine a light on one of the most mysterious and increasingly important pieces of the virtual (and real) world.

The writer would be based in New York and join HuffPost's growing technology team.

We're looking for someone with a smart and lively voice who can write interesting thought-provoking pieces for HuffPost's huge audience. The writer should understand how to craft stories for an online audience -- beyond black-and-white 700 word stories.

The writer should have at least 3 years of editorial experience writing for the web and be completely obsessed with the Internet and all its darkest corners. The writer should come with an entrepreneurial spirit, tons of ideas and feel comfortable writing short dailies, and longer pieces as needed. The ability to convey curiosity and humor is a huge plus.
