Japan's Cherry Blossoms Make Us Want To Hop A Plane To Tokyo

It's almost April, and in Japan, that means one thing: The cherry blossoms are blooming. The flowers are a national symbol of Japan, and the annual display draws huge crowds -- and the attention of social media users.

HuffPost Japan gathered some of the most beautiful celebrations of Tokyo's cherry blossoms, and it's making us want to jump on the next flight.

For those of us who don't have that option, though, Washington D.C.'s cherry blossom festival offers a chance to take in the spring spectacle a bit closer to home.
