Rep. Grayson: If I Was Grading Hillary's Announcement Video, I'd 'Have To Grade It As Incomplete'

Rep. Grayson Grades Hillary's 2016 Announcement: I'd Give It An 'Incomplete'

Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) wasn't totally impressed with the presidential campaign announcement video Hillary Clinton released Sunday.

"I listened very closely to her announcement video, and I have to say that if I were grading it, I'd have to grade it at this early point as incomplete," Grayson told HuffPost Live's Alyona Minkovski in a conversation on Monday.

Clinton has "identified the problem" -- "that the deck is stacked in favor of people at the top," according to Grayson -- but the congressman said he wants to see the former secretary of state start troubleshooting.

"We need to hear about what the solutions are, and for that, we're still waiting," he said. "My decision about her candidacy will rest upon what I think she will actually propose to do."

But Grayson said he is optimistic Clinton will be a promising candidate once she proposes action.

"I'm waiting to see what promises she [Clinton] makes, because I think she's actually one person who could keep them," he said.
