Here's When Trevor Noah Will Take Over As The New 'Daily Show' Host

Here's When Trevor Noah Will Take Over 'The Daily Show'

In just a few months, late-night will never be the same, at least when it comes to "The Daily Show."

Jon Stewart will officially give up his seat behind the "Daily Show" desk when Trevor Noah takes over on Sept. 28. The Comedy Central show tweeted a new video on Thursday teasing Noah's "new and sexy 'Daily Show.'"

Noah also shared the video, inviting his followers to a very special date.

Stewart announced his departure from "The Daily Show" in February. The exiting host also stood up for his successor after Noah received backlash for his past controversial tweets and encouraged viewers to give Noah a chance.
