What does a 3D screening of "Magic Mike XXL" look like? When Channing Tatum's involved, it doesn't include special glasses or a screen.
A group of fans were invited to a special 3D screening of the upcoming sequel to 2012's "Magic Mike" -- but they got a surprise male stripper show instead. But before the performance, Tatum decided to punk fans by dressing up in a disguise and interviewing fans as a bearded, balding marketing executive.
When asked what parts of "Magic Mike XXL" they wanted to see in 3D, fans didn't hold back. "The part where there's pelvic thrusting," one woman said. "Hopefully some full-frontal nudity," another guy answered. Finally, Tatum brought out a group of male dancers to give the audience lap dances and joined in on some twerking himself before revealing his identity. To say the least, there was a lot of screaming and face fanning.
But those who missed out on the surprise performance can also earn a chance to win tickets to the "Magic Mike XXL" premiere, walk the red carpet with Tatum and maybe even throw some sweaty dollars at him. Donate to the Rund Foundation, which supports medical and research clinics for Amazonian plant medicine, via the Omaze campaign to enter to win. You can't lose!
"Magic Mike XXL" opens July 1.
